Hello, my name is Erin. I used to be good at saying I was going to do things , and then well, not do them. I would like to write a candid editorial section based on addiction of all forms, as I believe most humans are afflicted by some form or another, whether it be work, alcohol, sex, exercise, shopping, etc., leaving “balance” an almost impossible feat to accomplish for many people, including myself (as I am a very selfish being), as rationalization of certain life choices often grips our prefrontal cortexes early and drives us to complaisance, which in turn ultimately drives us toward the desire to change.
Let me know if it is an ok idea. I am extremely open and honest in an attempt to forfeit my ego, or at least put it in remission, as I have masked my poor decision makin and self-centeredness (wanting what others have and not accepting my own “hand” in life) for years.
